2. When Netherlands and Brazil start to play counter-attack, there is no beautiful game anymore.

1. Things happening once are not countable, for example one-night stand...such a lot of men are so into it, because it is not counted and equals to nothing. When elimination stage starts, every team could just deny what happened.
2. South Korea was playing well against Uruguay, however this was the first time they qualified from the group outside South Korea. What happened in 2002 was like one-night stand.
3. Could Donovan's scream "hi Bianca" and a kiss blowing to the camera save his mirage? We couldn't know because USA was too fast to out. If you don't know what happened about that "HI", just google it:)
4. Before the match of England and Germany, on F1 european grand prix at Valencia, German Vettel won Englishman Hamilton, when Vettel past the last line, red bull send him the message through team radio "Germany's best result of today". It was a joke because everybody knew there would be that important match following. But almost the same thing happen, English gave some pressure at the beginning, and at the end Germany won easily.
5. Blatter is against introduction of video technology even after so many referee mistakes in this world cup. We cannot have time travel to go back to see if Lampard's goal was counted. No one reject that Germany played better, but we won't know what if that happened. The same for Mexico. Blatter implemented the booking of players who remove their shirts after scoring a goal (what a stupid rule), but not for electric referee to make every thing more accurate. I guess there is just no rule in football world.
6. I am never be the fans of Germany, but I like this Germany team, at least they play as gentlemen (of course, their coach is such a gentleman). Not as Argentina, after the mistake of referee, Mexican players went in front of referee, why Argentina players went as well?

1. When friend told me France lost the match against South African, finally I know French are so sympathetic. How could let the hardworking host even not win a match if they were already the first record as the host not qualified from the group?
2. I would love to scream as my Argentina friend for my own national team. But they are even worse than France. Fortunately I don't care anymore, because I was hurt before. When you don't care, there are nothing which could hurt you.
3. "Yes we can" was appearing at the stadium of the match between USA with Algeria. It is so American! And they really did and was the first in their group.
4. Oh, Oh, Oh...thanks god..Loew wore overcoat and scarf!!!!! I know Germany gonna win Ghana, so what drove me to watch the game was my curious about what Loew would wear that night:)
5. The previous champion was the last in the group, and the same as the second. If they were the best two 4 years before, we should doubt that worldcup or this one?
6. Lippi might be a good coach before, but definitely not anymore. The players he chose were not because of abilities, depending on the relation with him...all from Juventus?
7. Brazil vs Portugal should be the most exciting game, but at the end it turned out to be the worst game to watch. No one really cares about it.
8. Spain and Chili also had a tacit understanding. If both of them could qualify with that score, who would really play?
9. Maybe every national team should learn from North Korea. If lose the game, send to coal mine!!!! Then probably we won't see boring game anymore:)

Key notes of world cup 2010..the second round of group qualification

1. What impressed me a lot about French coach at day7 against Mexico? It was his pair of MONTBLANC glasses with a lots of logos. So if you cannot give any impression through any match, just wearing a pair of black frame glasses.
2. Gentleman and fashionman Loew threw bottle of water during the match Germany vs Sebia. Why did he do that? What do you think..of course, all about referee.
3. All American super heroes have the same experiences. At the beginning beat by the opponents, and then some miracles happened, therefore, they win. The same thing happen when American was playing with Slovenia. Did they get some super power?
4. Just one draw by Algeria, they almost destroyed a peaceful friday night. They'd better to lose everything.
5. Netherlands is not anymore the one in my memory. Utilitarianism football is worldwide. Who cares about how beautiful they play, everybody will just pay attention to the final results. Netherlands play so boring but they win.
6. I really don't like Anelka. For once, I appreciated what he said about that son of bxxxx. Was it wrong to say something true like in what happened in the story of "the emperor's new clothes"?
7. Eriksson is a tragedy man. Just seeing what he did in the past 6 years as the coach of England, there shouldn't be any country wantting recruiting him. But some african country don't believe it. Come on, he only cares about how many cellphone numbers he could get from big-boob girls.
8. 7:0, don't Portugal players have sympathy? Don't you know after this humiliation, North Korea players will be sent to coal mine to work?

Notes of world cup 2010..day 5 and 6.. everybody rocks

Today is Dragon-boat festival in China, one of the most important holiday. In this day people use to have a very traditional food called ZONGZI (in wiki, it is described as rice dumplings wrapped in baboon leaves, in fact they are not dumplings, but to be honest I didn't find any better word in English, so they are dumplings). I had a very relax day, even it is not public holiday in France. But till I got all sms from everybody not exactly telling me the result of Spain..but kinda indicative, I felt disappointed.

Well, well, well, it could be worse, it was just the first match.

But everybody does want to ask what's wrong with these strong teams. Brazil was rocked by a team ranked 115th, Spain cannot win Swiss, Portugal just got a draw Ivory coast. Don't mention those tradition strong teams playing earlier, except Germany.

You could blame all these on the cold weather. Definitely, it was fxxxxxx cold at 0 degree in June. I guess every body saw C. Ronaldo saying that word clearly through slow motion. What he said in the press briefing after the match "I didn't do anything" could be a nice joke in front of slow motion. I bet he could say that 20 years before when there is no HD camera.

C. Ronaldo is the most expensive player in this world cup, what he can earn in a year is 100000 times more than the whole national team of north Korea can get in a year. But what he did yesterday was definitely not even 100 times better than north Korea. Shame on him, and shame on China national team as well. You know in 2002, China was at the same group as Brazil, compared what north Korea did yesterday, what they did was completely shameful, 4:0 with 1 shoot inside the frame.

Brazil sucked, with their terrible way of playing. I really cannot see they can get through till the end. I didn't see the match of Spain, but I guess it should be quite similar. So what we could expect, I really wish as crazy as possible.

The only thing I still hope to see is Loew, but I really don't wanna see Germany go till the end. Life just contradictory.

Notes of world cup 2010..day 4.. chicken chest

There is an old Chinese saying: Chicken chest, no taste, but it is shameful to throw it away. A similar way in English is "used book for sale bin". Now some matches for me are like that for me.

As I mentioned before I fell in asleep after the 20m of Argentina's first match. But I would feel sorry if I even didn't try to see that one. Isn't it like chicken chest?

I never like the way Italian plays, but they always keep winning. How could I abandon matches with them? But I always feel regret after the whistle of referees. But yesterday I still went to a small restaurant with close friends. It turned out not that bad.

Buffon sucked. When everybody still talked about how difficult for goalkeeper to catch the roundest football. He even didn't try to touch the ball, and he turned in one side with his torsion head and just saw the ball passing him by. He told everybody he broke his waist. Wasn't it an excuse?

At the last 10m of the match, camera focused on one guy in the stadium, who was the fan of Paraguay. He was standing with closed two hands and prayed sincerely. My friends who are Colombian told me that what this guy was doing is very latin american. They pray for everything. And later one of the players from Paraguay kissed the football before he kicked the corner. I was wondering whether this is the same meaning when De Rossi goaled, the first thing he did was running to Gatusso and Gatusso kissed him.

Thanks to technology, I had part of Holland's match from my cellphone. I guess 20 years before people even think about it one day they could have portable tv. Holland used to be my favorite team. They played pretty and they behaviour elegant. In some moment everybody think they should win champion but they won everybody's respect but no champion. Holland is like an untitled champion, which put more pathos on them. As an emotional girl, how couldn't I love this team?

But after amazing warming up before the world cup, yesterday I saw the worst Holland team in my life. That orange team is not anymore the one in my memory. When 35 years old player Van Bronckhorst brought the ball from their own part to Denmark's one, no other players from Holland could take the ball he passed. I just felt sad for this untitled champion team.

In 2006, the day when Holland was playing against Argentina, the other two in their was playing as well. At the end, Holland qualified with a tie in that match. It was not exciting match. But I did remember I felt like I wanna drink some beer. I should mention I never drink. I have a rare existing allergy to alcohol. However, crazy girl like me does have some moment to just fxxx up herself. I clear remember I was with other three friends in another city. I ordered a bottle of Henigen. Of course no more than half of the bottle, I vomited and my face was swollen up like a pig. Shameful story..but when I talk it now, I have smile on my face.

Japan won their first world cup match outside Japan. Etoo cannot do anything if he was alone. Last year Etoo rewarded watched to all his national team colleges. Does he feel regret to throw those money for nothing now?

World cup is amazing. I hope there is no match like chicken chest for me anymore.

When I write these things above, New Zealand got the drawn. And tonight the most mystery Asian team...north Korea will show up. I cannot wait to see.

Notes of world cup 2010..day 3..all about habit

Generally speaking, I don't like Germany men, I mean like..like. You know what I mean. Anyway it doesn't matter. But I must say, the coach Loew was the main reason to drive me watch tonight's game. He is such a man, who must in suit. He looks amazing in suit. I don't know it is because he was born for dressing suit or every suit just fits him so well. Sorry I know I am just a stupid girl who focuses on these things.

When we just talked about that it gonna become boring world cup, in which average goals per match 1.5 before German's game is much less than the average for recent 4 world cup 3.12. German caught our eyes, which beat Australian 4 times.

Day 3, real games start!!!

Germany has the tradition to beat opponent. In 2002, at the first match, they beat Saudi Arabia at 8:0, I guess that is the biggest difference I have ever seen in the world cup final stage. Asian team seems to be trampled upon by Germany. If Germany gonna keep playing like this, who will still remember Ballack.

I was calling my dad during the match of Serbia and Ghana. I found out it was really difficult for me to watch world cup alone. I tried to think hard the reason, then I realize it is all about habit for old time's sake. Since the first time watching world cup, I was always with family or friends. It is an event for me to spend time with others. It becomes hard for me to stay alone at this event, which makes me sad and manic. But since I am growing old and single, I guess I need to be used to. I feel sorry for myself.

I miss Double, who used to be my SMS man during the match. We commented on every stupid detail during the match through SMS from 2002-2006 for important tournaments, till the day I left for France and he went Indonesia for working. Every time when I send SMS during the match, my dad always complained I didn't share the things with him but to share with another man living in another city. I knew he was just jealousy. Today Double send me an email to ask whether I follow the matches. I really miss him and I am glad he does also. Football connects us, especially world cup.

I always start from the match I wanna talk to something else. Yeap, I was talking about Serbia, which was assumed to be strong. But it turned out what they did during the European qualification was just illusion. Without the most famous players, young Ghana rocked!!!

Day 3, 3 red card in 3 games. By the way, I wrote I hope Algeria would loss the game. But I mean I felt guilty to come true. Anyway, I watched the collection, both Algeria and Slovenia really sucked. They really ruined the match. Fortunately, teams like Holland, Brazil and Spain are coming out.

After the mistake of Green, English goalkeeper, the goalkeeper of Algeria made a stupid fault as well. Jabulani, the match ball, "brings joy to everybody" except goalkeepers.

Notes of world cup 2010..day 2..it starts to become interesting

The first day's match was boring. I only watched the one between France and Uruguay, 22 players all together gave us a very poor performance. The only super star in France, Ribery completely lost his creativity on the field. Another star in Uruguay Forlan was so selfish and kept the ball under his own feet all the time. Guys, do you still remember 2002 the second match of France was against Uruguay. France got the drawn like now, and after 3 matches, France did not qualify from the group. It was the first time previous champion did not qualify from the group. Similar situation happened again, will they qualify?

Mentioning about 2002, so many memory comes out.

It was the first time world cup in Asian. Fans in Asian didn't need to fight with time difference, but I was preparing the final examinations in the university. I watched a lot of matches in the canteen with crowd and text books on the hand. And it was the first time China got through to the world cup. But what you could expect that team. 4:0 losing to Brazil, 3:0 to Turkey and 2:0 to Costa Rica, they even hadn't a real shoot in those 270 minutes.

"Golden goal" was still implemented. Thanks to referee and this rule, South Korea eliminated Italy. I do believe, inside human being's inside, we are cheap. At the moment when "golden goal" was used, I hated it and complained. But now, I kinda miss it. The only reason for this is we never appreciate what we have at present.

I am sorry I was so into memory. Let's talk about yesterday's matches.

There were three matches yesterday, and the only one I watched the whole was England vs USA. It was not a fantastic match, but I enjoyed it. As we all know, this two team were not good at in techniques. So the strategy was very direct, forward!!! However, this did not matter, the match included everything making it fun, history, revenge, familiarity, dramatic, intensity.

There is a funny news to share. 60 years before, at 1950, USA met England in the world cup. At that moment, England was very strong, and everybody believe that USA would lose for sure. But surprisingly, USA won at 1:0. At that moment, the communication was not that easy and newspaper was very small with a single page devoted to sports, so the reporter send a telegram back to his newspaper office in England. Everybody in England pre-assumed England should win, so they thought the the 1–0 scoreline was a typing error and so it was reported that England had won on a scoreline of 10–0. Therefore, now, before the match, the median in USA said they would send the video of the victory match of USA to the whole English people to inform them.

History won't happen again, in today's society, we share the news immediately. Like what happened yesterday of English goalkeeper, he did a huge mistake to let the ball go to the net. Cameras from different direction caught every detail from 360 degree angle and presented to all spectators in front the high-quality screen. Poor guy lives at bad time. And what he did at that moment will be showed on youtube and kicked by millions of people. The captain of England Gerrade called what goalkeeper did was howler, even he said that all English player is behind him. But howler is howler...This man who called Green, in green, lying in green grass, probably at that moment had green tears in his green eyes.

Compared to this match, I was much expected Argentina's one. Unfortunately, Manadona was the only reason to make it fun. He was in suit and screamed to everybody, whatever his players or his opponents, even referees. It was so dramatic. But apart from him, Argentina with Messi was really messy. Defensing was completely disordered, and their famous attacking was not accurate anymore. After they scored, they started to draw back. Is it still the team who is called Argentina? We all doubted. To be honest, I felt in asleep during this boring match.

South Korea won, but the opponent was Greece, which was famous for their ugly playing. They just did what they should do.

Today, I really wish Algeria not to win the first match. Just because I wanna live in a peaceful city.

By the way, during the match between England vs USA, Beckham was sitting besides coach with his gentleman suit. The whole bar burst into strange silence, what's wrong with that? Can you tell me?

The second day, it was more interesting.

Notes of world cup 2010..day 1

Every four years, all football fans around world have a one month excuse to have a lots of beer, get drunk, tons of parties, etc, yeap, this is world cup time.

World cup becomes a mark to help me memory those things happened in every four years.

The first world cup in my memory was 1990's one in Italy. However, I was too young to truly understand what was going on. The real memory and let me into football spectator is 94's in USA.

Those scenes that Bebeto rocked an imaginary baby on his arms, Baggio was standing in front of net lonely and sadly, blondie amazing Caniggia...I still remember that morning, when Brazil won the cup, those papers flying in the stadium, I was shocked.

98's, as a highschool teenage, when every girl talk about Beckham and Owen, I sniffed to those what I thought "stupid" girls, and thought about I am the only one who really know what football is and they even cannot call the majority of player's name. What a childish idea!!! In fact, I was just one of those "stupid" girls, and my teenager lover was Raul, whose name I finally pronounced correctly till last year. Football is nothing special, and what is important is the joy from it. I finally understand it later.

This world cup was the first one I followed up almost all matches. I cried for Spain in the group qualification, I cheered up by Holland into the semi final, and I still cannot believe Zidane goaled using his head...and eight years later, he used the same head hit someone else instead of ball.

Talking about 2002, let's wait till tomorrow. And see what happened yesterday during this year's world cup, the first day.

In history, host team generally could play incredibly. If it was not in South African, just a normal friendly international match, I guess few people gonna bet South African can win. But, but, so we were not surprisely to see a drawn. As the first time in the final stages of world cup, South African did well in the first match.

On the other hand, previous champion France played really not well. They don't have good attackers, even in the first half, they had a lots of chance and really controlled the game. But that was nonsense, if at the end, everything cannot become a real goal. 0:0 for two teams is not that bad result.

This group will become interesting. Who will qualify from it? Let's see.
